Why Indoor Air Quality is Important
Indoor Air pollution is responsible approximately 3.2 million deaths per year (as of 2020) [1]. The EPA found that indoor air quality can be 2-5 times worse than outdoor air due to factors such as cooking/fireplace fumes, cleaning supply chemicals (TVOCs), pet dander, mold, and other airborne pollutants, including those outside that can enter your home [2]. Inadequate indoor Air quality can cause short term irritation (throat, nose, eyes), but also leads to respiratory infections, and can aggravate pre-existing conditions such as asthma.

H13 Medical Grade HEPA filters out 99.97% of particles (0.3 micron and larger in size), which include pollen, dust, mold spores, and smoke.
Activated Carbon helps remove harmful TVOCs, secondhand/wildfire smoke, pet odors and cooking fumes.
For additional protection GCT offers a UV-C Air Purifier, which utilizes 255-275 UVC technology that helps reduce the spread of microorganisms (greater or less than 0.3 microns), such as viruses, in the air.
